Description: Every commercial transaction is unique, and each poses different environmental challenges whether you are the seller, purchaser, landlord, tenant, or lender.  This seminar will highlight some of the practical environmental considerations in commercial acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing transactions, from the vantage point of each party to the transaction.  Members of the panel will take sides and explore various contract provisions to demonstrate how compromises can be reached to manage and allocate environmental risk in today’s commercial transaction market. The panel will address topics such as: representations and warranties, environmental due diligence, environmental insurance,  indemnification, and transactions involving known contaminated property.
