The Business Side of Art

This panel-driven program introduced and moderated by Nancy Ori will address a multitude of topics including branding, pricing your work, tips on how to build a data base, important current copyright issues, tips on creating a web site, what skills are necessary beyond your art to be successful, what works and what doesn't, where to use social media, learning about what collectors are looking for today, and  how to properly approach a gallery. Questions will be collected throughout the program and addressed to the panel during an interactive Q&A session. Panel: Kathy Palmer, owner of Studio 7 in Bernardsville; Virginia Fabbri Butera: Director Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery in Morristown; Gerry Heydt, local artist and instructor; Ellen Denuto, President of American Society of Media Photographers and exhibiting artist; and David S.
