Michael N. Morea is special counsel in the firm’s Employment and Litigation Departments, where he represents and counsels employers in all types of employment matters and disputes across a broad range of industries. He also routinely represents clients in complex commercial matters such as shareholder and partnership disputes, claims of unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract actions.

Michael has been repeatedly recognized for his legal achievements and professionalism. Michael has been awarded an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the premier directory of legal professionals. In 2011, the New Jersey Law Journal named Michael to its “40 Under 40” list, a selection of the top attorneys in New Jersey under the age of 40. Michael has also been recognized for the high quality of his legal work and his excellent professional reputation by (201) Magazine.
Michael is an active member of the Bergen County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Michael currently serves as co-chair of the Bergen County Bar Association's Labor and Employment Committee. He also served as a barrister in the Sidney Reitman Employment American Inn of Court from 2003-2005 and participated in the Justice Morris Pashman American Inn of Court from 2000-2002.
A frequent lecturer and author on employment law topics, Michael serves as the editor of the firm’s employment law blog, the Employment Law Monitor.
Michael earned his B.A. from Villanova University and his J.D. from Pace University School of Law, where he was a member of the Environmental Law Review.
