LITIGATION & BANKRUPTCY ASSOCIATE - Wilmington, Delaware Office
1-3 years experience in litigation and/or bankruptcy to join our Delaware Office and be part of team working on matters in Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, Texas and elsewhere. Large and experienced department of 25+ full-time bankruptcy attorneys with a sophisticated practice offering an extraordinary opportunity for challenging, interesting, and rewarding work. We seek a motivated individual devoted to meeting the highest standards of excellence and serving clients, and who wants to be part of an established and dynamic office and firm. Strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication, research and analytical skills are required. Delaware Bar required, additional Bar(s) a plus.
TAX, TRUSTS & ESTATES ASSOCIATE - Hackensack, New Jersey Office
2-4 years income tax, estate and closely held business experience. Tax Controversy/Tax Litigation experience a plus. NJ and NY bar admission required. LLM in Tax preferred. Strong academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills required.
STAFF POSITIONS
ESTATE ADMINISTRATION/PLANNING PARALEGAL- Hackensack, New Jersey or New York Office
Estate Administration/Planning Paralegal to join our New Jersey or New York Office. Responsible for handling all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate (knowledge of New York probate a plus), extensive communication with clients, financial planners and accountants, preparation of federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings, distribution of estate assets and trust funding, etc. Will also be responsible for handling all phases of estate planning, including preparation and drafting of Wills and Trusts, preparing deeds and beneficiary designation forms. Superior communication and mathematical skills are a must.
Candidates must be highly organized, posses the ability to prioritize, be a team player, and have excellent written and verbal skills. Strong working knowledge of estate tax software (ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), HotDocs and Microsoft Word a plus. College degree and/or paralegal certificate required and 2 to 3 years of experience preferred.
ESTATE PLANNING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Hackensack, New Jersey Office
Estate Planning Administrative Assistant to join the T&E Department in our New Jersey Office. Responsibilities include drafting of documents, preparing beneficiary designation forms, coordinating and preparing document binders for clients, communicating with clients and other professionals, and overall assistance to estate planning attorneys and paralegals. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and computer skills, be highly organized and be a team player
LEGAL SECRETARY/FLOATER- Hackensack, New Jersey Office
Legal Secretary/ Floater to join our New Jersey Office. Candidates with 3+ years legal experience for full-time positions (Monday through Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm) to provide coverage for vacationing secretaries and handle overflow work in the areas of Bankruptcy, Corporate, Environmental, Litigation, Real Estate and Tax, Trust and Estates. These positions may lead to permanent secretarial workstation assignments.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office required; knowledge of FileSite a plus.
